DJ Gillian 'Salsa Fix'
Gillian ‘Salsa Fix’ is an award winning Salsa DJ, winning Salsa Central's 'Best Regional DJ' award and coming runner up in The LUKAS award for 'Best UK Salsa DJ'. She has worked at numerous events around the UK such as MotionCity, GBSEx, LatinMotion, Salsology, Sunday M.A.S.S, Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Unity, MotionCity, Bristol Salsa Congress, Yorkshires Salsa Congress and many more. She runs the ever popular 'Salsa Fix' nights in the North West and also ran the award winning 'Salsology' in Prestwich prior to the Longfield Suite closing during lockdown and until recently she was resident DJ at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom events for over 10 years.
Gillian personally loves Salsa Dura, Mambo, Salsa Classica and Salsa Romantica but can adapt to most salsa crowds and is well known for being able to read the crowd and play accordingly on the fly, she plays a wide range of Salsa music from New York, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela, Peru, Europe, Africa and beyond. She enjoys DJing from Vinyl and digital and she works hard on her music collection to keep it fresh and is constantly investing in her love of Salsa.

If you would like to book me for your event, please first check availability by emailing the date of your event and the location, fees will depend on expenses but to give you an idea I charge
From £200 + expenses per night standard DJ fee
From £300 per night + expenses for a class and DJing package
These fees are based on me plugging into the event organisers PA with my controller and laptop and do not include any other equipment, if you want to hire mixers and speakers I am able to arrange this, please ask for prices.
